FAQ

Questions we get asked a lot.

If something isn't covered here, email us at hello@zemaskin.com and we'll answer directly.

When will Zema launch?

We're in the final stages of formulation and safety assessment. We don't have a confirmed launch date yet, but we're close. Join the waitlist and you'll be the first to know the moment it's ready, with early access pricing for the first 200 as a thank you for waiting.

Who is the Scalp Serum made for?

It's made for people living with seborrheic dermatitis, scalp psoriasis and eczema, and for anyone with an itchy, flaky or sensitive scalp. To be clear about what it is: Zema is a cosmetic. It soothes, moisturises and supports the skin barrier. It is not a medical treatment, and it doesn't replace advice from your GP or dermatologist.

What's in it? Is it really fragrance-free?

Yes, completely fragrance-free. No essential oils, no added scent of any kind. The formula is built around niacinamide (vitamin B3), aloe vera, hemp seed oil and panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), with a small supporting cast that's there for texture and stability. Nothing is included to make it smell pleasant or photograph well. The final ingredient list will be published here once it's signed off.

What results can I expect?

We're careful with this answer, deliberately. Zema is made to help your scalp feel soothed, moisturised and comfortable, and everyone's skin is different, so we won't invent numbers or timelines. What we can tell you: it's lightweight, fragrance-free, and designed for daily use. When we have real accounts of how people get on with it, we'll share them as written, the good and the bad.

What will your returns policy be?

When we launch: if the serum isn't right for you, contact us within 30 days of receiving your order and we'll refund you in full. We won't ask why. We understand what it's like to spend money on something that doesn't suit your skin, and we don't want to keep your money if that's your experience with Zema.

Can I use it alongside treatment from my doctor?

If you're using anything prescribed for your skin, check with your GP or dermatologist before adding something new to your routine. They know your skin and your situation better than we ever could, and it's worth the quick conversation.
